Transformation of an abandoned commercial building into a vibrant apartment complex

Exciting to see the transformation of an abandoned, blighted commercial building into a vibrant, beautiful apartment complex.  Our land use consultants helped Viking Construction by: presenting a text change to the Stamford Zoning Board to allow the commercial building to be converted to multifamily development; facilitated the consolidation of a neighboring property; then, obtained another round of zoning approvals to add a fourth story to the existing building and expand the parking.  Pre-construction, property and topographic surveys, easement and consolidation maps were all prepared by our land surveyors for our civil engineers to use to design the site.

Ainslie Square: Developer says Stamford housing complex ‘already 71% sold’

This is what happened when an established developer needed our land use experience;  Our land planners worked with Congregation Agudath Shalom to optimize a lot line revision that maximized the value of a property sale to RMS Cos.  Then, we presented a text change and special exception to the Stamford Zoning Board and obtained approval for the development.  Our land surveyors and civil engineers did what they do best, and three years later, 71% of the 37 townhouses and 25 single-family homes have sold!
